팝송으로 공부하게 되면 다양한 영어의 표현을 접할수가 있습니다.

팝송의 상당수 특히, 가수의 감정이 들어가 있기 때문에 

시적인 풍부한 표현을 배울수도 있습니다.

그리고 공부할때 듣는 CD나, 녹음CD 등

딱딱한 발음을 공부하는 것보다,

영어공부를 한다면 기본적으로 읽기, 듣기, 말하기, 쓰기를 마스터를 해야 합니다.

 사실 우리나라는 영어교육에 대해서 말이 많았습니다.

그 이유로는 막상 배워놓고 '외국인을 만나면 활용을 못한다' , '비효율적이다'

우리나라가 영어수준이 높아졌으면 좋겠는데요.

그래서 오늘은 영어 듣기 잘하는법에 대해 글을 써보려 합니다. ^-^

단어를 정리하자.

우리나라언어와 마찬가지로 영어도 같은 언어이기 때문에 모르는 단어가 나와도

앞뒤 문맥을 통해 유추할 수가 있습니다. 하지만 그 모르는 단어를 정확하게 알게 된다면

더 쉽게 풀수 있는 것은 당연한 일입니다. 듣기 내용에서 모르는 단어가 나오면 체크했다가

나중에 정리하는 습관을 들여야 합니다.

따라서 말하자.

발음에 유의하면서 따라서 말하다보면 녹음된 내용에서 말하는 속도에 익숙해지고,

발음을 비교하면서 정확히 들을수가 있습니다.

읽을 줄 알아야 들을 수 있다.

단어를 많이 알고 독해를 잘하는 학생도 듣기영역이 약한 경우가 있습니다.

제대로 된 발음에 익숙하지 않은 상태에서 눈으로 하는 공부를 하기 떄문입니다.

듣기에서 어떻게 읽히는지 모르게 된다면 내용을 알아들을 수가 없습니다.

서두르지 말자.

단어량을 늘려서 어느정도 효과를 얻을 수 있는 독해와는 달리

듣기는 단기간의 학습량으로 성적을 올리는게 어렵습니다.

적은시간이라도 매일 꾸준히 듣기에 시간을 투자하는것이 좋은 결과를 낼 수 있습니다.

받아쓰기 연습을 하자.

대본없이 반복해서 들으며 내용을 파악한 후에 안들리는 부분을 받아적고 대본과 비교하면서

내가 알고 있는 잘못된 발음이나 단어들을 정리합니다.

가장 기초적이고 시간이 걸릴수도 있겠지만 가장 효과적인 방법입니다.

형식적인 영어공부는 하지 말자.

영어는 학문이 아니라 언어입니다.

공부를 하면서 늘어가는 실력으로 신문이나 논문을 읽는 방법으로 점점 한계를 뛰어넘는 공부를 해야 합니다.

스킬을 배우지 말자.

학원이나 인터넷강의를 들어보면 문제풀이 스킬에 대해 강의를 하는 강사들이 많습니다.

스킬을 배우면 문제를 쉽게 풀 수 있다는 장점이 있지만

 이것만 적용해서 문제풀이를 한다면 나중에 부작용이 생길수가 있습니다.

기초부터 튼튼하게 듣기공부를 한 후 실력을 쌓은 후에 전체내용을 듣고 이해할 수 있다면 스킬은 필요가 없게 됩니다.
